Phase one in our full-service design package is a one-on-one meeting with your design team to kick off the design. During this meeting we will discuss:
FORM — We will review before pictures of the space, and talk about existing architecture and structural limitations.
FUNCTION — Do you have pets? Kids? What are your storage needs? Do you love to entertain, or would you rather have a cozy sanctuary for you and your loved ones? Let’s discuss.
BUDGET — How much would you like to invest in this space? We can help educate you on industry averages and help prioritize your projects based on your personal parameters.
DESIGN — Let’s dive into some inspiration images. What design features would you love to see in your space? What design features miss the mark for you? Seeing your inspiration photos helps us gauge your tastes, expectations, and personal style.

During the design phase of your project, you can expect weekly project updates on what we are working on as well as design materials delivered as they are completed.
MOOD BOARDS — Mood boards are presented prior to the final presentation. The approved mood board represents colors, textures, and the overall “mood” of the space. All design selections will be filtered through the approved mood board.
DESIGN LAYOUT — This is a scaled furniture or cabinetry layout of the space and is presented to you for approval prior to the final design presentation.
STORY BOARD — Finalized furniture and material selections presented at the design presentation based on information established during the design summit meeting.
RENDERING & SAMPLES — In-person presentation of full-color rendering and samples based on the final design selections and materials.

This service provides a simple and affordable alternative to our full-service package. This approach is crafted for clients seeking professional design direction & expertise, who don’t mind doing a little legwork to prepare, manage, and implement the project themselves.

Get Inspired — During the design style intake, we would like you to collect at least 5-10 images of spaces that make your heart sing. You can find photos like these online - on sites like Houzz, Pinterest, and Instagram. These will give us visual clues about your style preferences and help us apply your inspiration to your home.
COMPLETE QUESTIONNAIRE — E-design clients will receive a questionnaire from us along with detailed instructions on how to measure the space. This information will help us create a design that is perfectly customized to your family's home, storage needs, and lifestyle.
MEASURE YOUR SPACE — Along with your completed questionnaire, we will need detailed and accurate measurements of your space. These must be thorough and include the overall layout dimensions as well as elevations of each wall, including doors and windows. Proper placement of your furniture is extremely important and accurate measurements of your room and walls is imperative for us to complete your design plan. No clue how to measure? No worries, we send you detailed instructions on how to complete this.
TAKE BEFORE PHOTOS — Just like the measurements above, clear photos of your spaces are pivotal to understanding the room. As designers, we rely on a variety of photos from different angles as well as straight-on photo elevations of every wall to get a feel for the flow and scale of the space.
FINAL SUBMISSION — Once all the hard work from steps 1 through 4 is complete, you can submit it to us so we can get to work! If possible, we prefer you upload and organize this information in a Google Drive folder for us, but in a pinch an email is fine! Once the requirements are received, we can start your custom design.

GET TO KNOW YOU — Each E-Design is customized with you in mind. Once we receive the completed questionnaires, we will read them over and begin to learn how you would like to use the space, as well as your personal lifestyle, and preferences. The more information you can provide for us, the better we can cater to you.
SCALE & DRAFT — After we receive the detailed measurements, we are able to turn them into a professional 2-dimensional scaled furniture layout. Once we create the furniture plan we are able to create a 3-dimensional draft that accounts for the window & door placements. This 3D model helps us predict and promote traffic patterns, and improve the overall function of the room.
SOURCING — Once we have the proper furniture scale, client style, and budget established we can begin sourcing! We will mindfully select vendors that align with your project and budget. All final selections will be recorded in a document that will notate the item numbers, price, and a clickable link where you can purchase the items easily when you are ready!
DESIGNER INPUT AND RESOURCES — Portraying and communicating the reasoning for our design selection is important to understanding the final design. In an effort to deliver our best professional service to you, we will prepare a short personalized video explaining the selections, floor plan, storyboard, and insider tips for final installation.
FINAL DELIVERY — Last but certainly not least, we will deliver your completed custom e-design package. This visual package includes a floor-plan, mood boards, a paint palette (if applicable), your clickable shopping list, and an informational video about the selections from a designer’s perspective. Upon the delivery of the final package, it’s up to you to make it all happen! Our average E-Design project lead time is 4 weeks.

We will hop on a quick call to find out your goals and preferences before the meeting so we can come prepared. We will educate you on the available product types for your home, offer design and color assistance, provide installation advice, and help order the right materials.

Hour-long initial consultation with a Principal Designer to discuss paint options for your home’s interior or exterior. During our consultation, we will bring paint samples and boards and help educate you on selecting the right color for your home.
FULL PAINT PACKAGE
7-10 hours of personalized work and organization on your project.Exterior rendering (if applicable) to show how the selection will look
Thorough work orders for contractors to follow broken out by room which indicate the paint color and finish for each area.
Presentation of all final paint colors and finishes and organized by space for safe keeping and routine maintenance.
Clear work orders to pass off to a contractor including color and finish per application (ie. ceiling, wall, casings & trim) to ensure the colors are installed accurately.
Expert design advice on how to create a wonderful comforting atmosphere using color and texture.
